·Zhonghe Hall is one of the three main halls outside the Forbidden City. It is located between the Taihe Hall and the Baohe Hall. It means adhering to the golden mean and seeking harmony in the world.
·There is the emperor’s throne in the middle of the hall, and two shoulder carriages are displayed on both sides. The shoulder carriage is one of the sedans that the emperor rides on, and is mainly used for the emperor’s activities in the Forbidden City.
·Before going to the Hall of Supreme Harmony to hold a grand ceremony, the emperor would rest in the Hall of Zhonghe and accept the worship of the deacons.

Bus: Take bus 1, 4, 20, 52 or 57 and get off at Tiananmen Station. Pass through the Tiananmen Gate Tower and Duanmen to reach the Meridian Gate (main entrance). Take bus No. 101, 103 or 109 and get off at the Palace Museum to Shenwumen (back door)
