The tomb of Zhang Liang in Zhangjiajie is now located in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, on an isolated platform under the four-door cypress willow rock surrounded by water. This is one of the important cultural landscapes in Zhangjiajie Scenic Area. Zhang Liang (? - 185 BC), also known as Zifang, was a nobleman from Korea (now Yingchuan, Henan) at the end of the Warring States Period. Zhang Liangyuan’s surname was Ji, and his ancestors were Korean prime ministers for five generations. After Qin destroyed Han, he killed more than 300 members of his family. Zhang Liang once spent all his family wealth to seek assassins to assassinate Qin Shihuang in revenge, but failed. Later, he responded to Chen Sheng and Wu Guang’s uprising against Qin, joined Liu Bang, and became an important adviser to Liu Bang.
