·Xu Garden is built on the former site of “Taohuawu”, located at the northern end of Chunliu River on the long embankment of Slender West Lake. It was the former site of Hanyuan Taohuawu in the early Qing Dynasty. A garden within a garden was rebuilt in memory of Xu Baoshan, the military commander who participated in the Revolution of 1911.
·”Xu Garden” serves as the screen of Slender West Lake, bringing the scenic spot from the prologue to the climax. The garden construction technique is very superb. There is a lotus pond built with yellow stones in the garden. There is a meandering water outside and a pond inside. The pond water is connected with the lake water.
·There are scenes such as the Oriole Pavilion, Spring Grass Pond Chanting Pavilion, and Shufeng Pavilion. It combines exquisite architectural structure and exquisite carving art. In front of the Oriole Pavilion, two iron woks are displayed, and there is an inscription “The Story of the Iron Wok”.
