Xining Nanguan Mosque was built in 1934, with a total area of ​​3100 square meters. It has five prayer halls of brick-concrete structure, eight east rooms of two-story brick-concrete structure, fourteen north rooms on the second floor, and twelve west rooms on the second floor. , seven reservoirs and a wake-up building about 15 meters high.
At that time, the area was sparsely populated, and it was inconvenient for the nearby Hui people to go to Dongguan Mosque to worship. So the local people raised funds to build the three west rooms of the civil structure as a worship hall, and the three north rooms were student rooms. They bought Chengzhang. Imam teaches. As the population in Nanguan area increased, the mosque was gradually expanded and built to a larger scale. After the religious reform, it was used as a factory building for Xining Embroidery Factory, and was later occupied by Nanxiaojie Primary School in Chengdong District. It was not until 1979 that the house was returned to the mosque and it was renovated and expanded to its current size.
