·Also known as “Wu Yipeng’s Former Residence”, it was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Suzhou in 1982.
·It was built in the 10th year of Jiajing reign of Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 500 years.
·It covers an area of ​​4,896 square meters and has a construction area of ​​5,468 square meters. It is the largest and most complete Ming Dynasty residential building outside Suzhou.
·Wu Yipeng’s former residence is a typical Jiangnan folk house. The house is divided into four roads and five entrances. Except for the main hall Yuhan Hall, which is a relic of the Ming Dynasty, the rest are buildings from the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.
