The museum relies on the former site of Wei Taihou, a famous ticket bank established in the sixth year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1826), and has extensively collected a large number of five-digit numbers with the word “Wei”, including Wei Fengfen, Wei Shengchang, Tianchengheng and Xin Taihou. Historical materials and objects are used, and a variety of artistic methods are fully used to truly and vividly reproduce the vivid scenes of the Pingyao Ticket Fighting Sauce Market in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.
