·It is located in the north of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and adjacent to Suoxiyu Scenic Area in the east. It was named after Xiang Dakun, the leader of the Tujia Nationality in the early Ming Dynasty, who called himself “Emperor Xiang Wang”.
·The highest point is about 1262.5 meters above sea level, and the lowest point is about 534 meters above sea level. Here you can have the opportunity to see the four wonders of clouds, moonlight, glowing sun and winter snow.
Hundreds of millions of years ago, Tianzi Mountain was a vast ocean. Later, through complex and long geological processes, strange geological landscapes such as Yubi Peak were formed.

Arrive at Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
Although Tianzi Mountain is the closest to the “Tianzi Mountain Ticket Station” among the three commonly used gates of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, more tourists choose to enter the park from the “Forest Park Ticket Station” and exit from the “Wulingyuan Ticket Station” in the east of Tianzi Mountain garden.
The Forest Park Ticket Station is the closest gate to the urban area among the three gates of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. At the Zhangjiajie urban bus station (next to the train station), there is a shuttle bus directly to the “Forest Park Ticket Station”. It takes about 40 minutes to get there, and the total journey is about 30 kilometers.
