·The temple was built in the Tang Dynasty and is the center of Buddhism in western Hunan. The temple is located on a mountain, giving it a majestic appearance.
·The current Tianmenshan Temple was rebuilt on the original site, adopting the official style of the Qing Dynasty, with three entrances and two halls, and the Guanyin Hall behind the hall, which is majestic.
·The most famous Guanyin Pavilion has a particularly ingenious shape, with two bright and three dark floors. Its complex structure is comparable to that of other famous classical buildings in China.
·In addition, there is a relic of Sakyamuni Buddha donated by the Chinese Temple in Lumbini, Nepal, stored in the temple, which is one of only five in China.

Take bus No. 4, No. 6, or No. 10 in Zhangjiajie city to get to the lower station of Tianmen Mountain Cableway. You can take the cableway to Tianmen Cave in the scenic area, and the fee is included in the entrance fee to the scenic area. The middle station of the cableway closes at 17:30 every day. Visitors who want to go to Tianmen Cave must arrive at the middle station before this time.
