The Shanghai Bund Weather Signal Observatory is also called the Bund Observatory. It is one of the most famous buildings on the Bund and is now an exhibition room of the history of the Bund. The second floor has been converted into a cafe, and the third floor is a circular platform surrounded by railings. Standing on the platform, you can overlook the Huangpu River and the North and South Bund.
It is very cold to take a boat trip on the Bund at night in winter. In addition to taking a boat trip, the Bund Weather Signal Station is also an excellent place to enjoy the night view of the Bund. There is a nostalgic time bar on the second floor of the weather station. The walls are covered with photos of old Shanghai and photos of celebrities from the 1930s. There is a platform on the top floor where you can drink coffee. To the east is the prosperous Pudong and to the west is Jinling Road. Holding a warm cup of coffee in hand and admiring the beautiful view of the Bund for a while is definitely the best place to enjoy the scenery on a winter night.
