·The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, also known as the Altar of Prayer for Grain, is the place where the Mengchun Praying Ceremony for Grain is held. It was built in 1420 and is also the earliest building in the Temple of Heaven.
·The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests is the landmark building of the Temple of Heaven. The altar is a circular building that combines the altar and the temple. It was built according to the ancient saying of “sacrifice to the emperor under the house”.
·There are 28 large golden nanmu pillars in the hall. The pillars are arranged in a circle. The beams in the hall are painted with dragons, phoenixes and seals. The whole building is magnificent.
·In addition to the altar of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, which is the main building, there are also the Huangqian Hall, the East and West Side Halls, the Gate of Prayer for Good Harvests, etc. beside the altar.
