The Luoyang City National Heritage Park of the Sui and Tang Dynasties covers an area of 145 acres. The Mingtang Scenic Area is the first phase of the Luoyang City National Heritage Park of the Sui and Tang Dynasties. It was the core area of Luoyang City Palace in the Sui, Tang and Northern Song Dynasties. It was also the place and material witness of the political, economic and cultural activities at that time. It is an important proof of the history of Luoyang and the culture of the Central Plains of the Sui and Tang Dynasties. The entire park mainly contains ruins from three major periods, the Daye Hall ruins of the Sui Dynasty, the Mingtang Paradise ruins of the Tang Dynasty, and the Taiji Hall ruins of the Song Dynasty.
