·Su Causeway runs through the north and south of the West Lake. It was built by Su Dongpo when he was an official in Hangzhou. It is also called “Sugong Causeway”.
·Because of its charming spring scenery, it is called “Spring Dawn on Su Causeway” and is the first of the ten scenic spots in West Lake.
·The total length is nearly 3 kilometers, with six stone bridges from south to north, including Yingbo, Suolan, Wangshan, Yadi, Dongpu and Kuahong.
·The Embankment Bridge is suitable for viewing the panoramic view of the West Lake. The Imperial Stele Pavilion in the south of the bridge has the inscription “Spring Dawn on the Su Causeway” inscribed by Emperor Kangxi.
·The scenic spots at both ends of Su Causeway are concentrated. At the southern end, there is Su Dongpo Memorial Hall, which can be visited for free. At the northern end, there are Yuewang Temple, Quyuan Fenghe and other scenic spots.
