History: Sixiyan Village is located in Sikou Town, Wuyuan County, Jiangxi Province, about 13 kilometers away from Ziyang Town, the county seat. It was first built in the fifth year of Qingyuan in the Southern Song Dynasty (1199) and has been more than 800 years old.
Buildings: Congting Hall, Mingxun Hall, Yuqing Hall, etc. There are 156 ancient residences, including 5 Ming Dynasty buildings and more than 80 Qing Dynasty buildings. It is known as the first village of Confucian merchants in Huizhou.
Features: The entire village is dominated by ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The village is paved with bluestone slabs. The ancient buildings are backed by green mountains, facing clear streams and rice fields, and are surrounded by green spaces. The village is integrated with the elegant natural scenery of beautiful water and green mountains.
