This is the only Liuli Art Museum in Shanghai, founded and designed by Taiwanese artists Zhang Yi and Yang Huishan. Two giant metal mesh peonies are attached to the outer wall of the museum, as if blooming from glass: during the day, the shadows of the flowers are quiet; at night, the flowers are gorgeous, showing a strong sense of modern art.
Nearly a hundred pieces of colored glaze treasures from past dynasties are on display in the museum, including not only the crystallization of the labor of the ancient Chinese people, but also the works of French artist Emile Gallè, who appeared at the 19th century Paris World Expo and is known as the “Father of Glazed Glass in the World”; 54 pieces The Buddha-making works focus on the wisdom and hard work of artist Yang Huishan for 23 years. The most amazing exhibit is the Guanyin statue of Guanyin, which took 10 years to create. This three-dimensional restoration of the Yuan Dynasty murals from the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang is the only work in the museum that is not made of glass. . Above it is a carefully designed multimedia projection - Feitian, and under the seat of Guanyin are clear yellow glazed lotus flowers.
