It is said that the three fairy mountains “Penglai, Fangzhang and Yingzhou” were the places where Emperors of Qin and Han Dynasty searched for the elixir of immortality, so there was an endless stream of people coming here to worship the immortals and pray for blessings. Nowadays, there is no need to climb mountains and trek in Sanxian Mountain. It is more about wandering among the graceful southern gardens, exquisitely built pavilions and waterside pavilions, and splendid temples and pavilions. Among them, the world’s first solid jade reclining Buddha weighing 108 tons weighs 72 tons. The whole jade Guanyin and the 260-ton eleven-faced Guanyin are the treasures of the scenic spot and the park, which can be called rare treasures. Tickets are relatively expensive, but the sightseeing buses and tour guides in the park are free, making it easier and more comfortable to visit.
