Continuing to walk forward in Zhonghe Mountain, there is an exquisite building in the green shade in front of it - the Saint’s Hall. The pillars on the bottom of the hall are elevated above the mountain rocks, which has the architectural characteristics of a thousand columns. The roof on the top of the mountain with double eaves is built according to the mountain terrain, and is partially cut off to allow free and flexible processing. The upper floor was originally dedicated to the tablet of Zhu Xi, the master of Neo-Confucianism, with the inscription “The tablet of Zhu Zi, the Duke of Huiguo in the Southern Song Dynasty” engraved on it. The lower floor was dedicated to the tablet of Confucius. The existing building of the Saint’s Hall was built in the fourth year of Guangxu’s reign in the Qing Dynasty (1878). It is said that there is a couplet hidden in the carved patterns on the sash ring panels of the cloister partition windows: “The unparalleled blessed land of dancing water, the first cave in Mount Guizhou.”
