Qilian Deer Farm is located in Youhulu Wildlife Nature Reserve, 40 kilometers away from Qilian County. It borders the Heihe River in the front, Tuolenan Mountain in the back, the green grass and mountainous Yiniugou Township in the west, and the shady pines and cypresses in the east. The second line of the first-class highway passes through the territory, and the transportation is very convenient.
Surrounded by mountains and characterized by plateau vegetation, it is Asia’s largest semi-wild deer domestication base. At an altitude of about 3,500 meters, precious protected animals such as red deer and sika deer live here. After entering from the ticket office, you can drive directly to the deer building to rest and watch deer. The best time to watch deer is in the morning.

Qilian Deer Farm is more than 40 kilometers away from Qilian County. It is recommended to drive or charter a car to get there.
Self-driving: Heading west from the confluence of Heihe River and Babao River, take the Erga Route (Provincial Highway 204) up the Heihe River. After passing through the Heihe Grand Canyon, which is more than 20 kilometers long, you can see the Qilian Luchang road sign.
Chartered car: The price for half-day chartered car is about 200 yuan
Shuttle bus: There is a bus to Yanglong from Qilian County Bus Station at 8:30 every day. The fare is about 11 yuan. You can tell the driver to get off at Luchang, and you need to walk a few kilometers to get there.
