·The Qiao Family Courtyard is located in Qiaojiabao Village, Qi County. It was originally named “Zaizhongtang” and was the residence of Qiao Zhiyong, a famous commercial and financial capitalist in the Qing Dynasty.
·The architecture here is majestic. Viewed from a high altitude, the entire courtyard is laid out in a double “xi” shape. There is a saying that “the royal family looks at the Forbidden City, and the private houses look at Qiao’s family”.
·On the brick wall opposite the gate, there is a picture of “One life becomes a hundred years” composed of 100 different styles of the character “Shou”, which is a rare work of art.
·On the top floor of the courtyard, there is a plaque with the words “Langzhang of Blessings”, which was given by the governor of Shanxi Province as a gift from the Empress Dowager Cixi.
