Located in the south of Zhouzhuang Town, commonly known as Nanbaidang, this large lake with nearly a thousand acres of water brings abundant water sources to Zhouzhuang.
The lakeside is surrounded by lush forests and bamboos, and the environment is quiet. It is not only a natural reservoir and fish farm, but also a rare scenic spot.
Nanhu Garden is divided into four scenic areas: spring, summer, autumn and winter. Among them, the winter scenery is centered on Quanfu Temple, which is known as the “Buddha Kingdom on the Water”.

It is located 38 kilometers southeast of Suzhou City. When arriving in Zhouzhuang, you usually choose to take a train or bus to Shanghai, Suzhou, Kunshan, and Nanjing, and then transfer to a tourist line or shuttle bus, which is very convenient.

  1. Passenger car
    ①Suzhou-Zhouzhuang: There is a tourist bus from Suzhou North Bus Station to Zhouzhuang every 20 minutes.
    ②Kunshan-Zhouzhuang: Kunshan Bus Station, there are tourist lines and buses that can go directly to Zhouzhuang.
    ③Zhejiang (Jiaxing)-Zhouzhuang: Jiaxing North Bus Station has buses to Zhouzhuang.
  2. Self-driving
    ① Departing from Shanghai: Shanghai → Yan’an Elevated Road → G50 → Kanazawa Exit → Shangta → Zhouzhuang Ancient Town
    ② Departing from Nanjing: Nanjing → Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway (G2) → Kunshan Exit → Kunzhou-Zhou Highway → Jinxi → Zhouzhuang Ancient Town
    ③Departing from Suzhou: Suhong Airport Road (S343) → Kunzhou-Zhou Highway → Jinxi → Zhouzhuang
    ④ Departing from Zhejiang: Huzhou → Shanghai-Jiangsu-Zhejiang Expressway (G318) → Jinze Exit → Shangtai → Zhouzhuang Ancient Town
  3. Bus: You can take a bus from Zhouzhuang Bus Station to the Zhouzhuang Ancient Town Tourist Area.
    Take Route 261 in Zhouzhuang area from [Zhouzhuang Bus Station], get off at [Zhouzhuang Xinpailou Station], and walk 50 meters to the Zhouzhuang Ancient Town Tourist Area.
  4. Taxi: You can take a taxi from Zhouzhuang Bus Station to the ancient town. Taxi Santana costs 10 yuan/car, and Xiali and minicars cost 5 yuan/car.
    Tips: In addition, you can also choose to take a human-powered tricycle, the price is 3 yuan/vehicle. But it only takes ten minutes to walk from the bus station, so walking is the most cost-effective. And don’t believe some tricycle masters who say they can take you into scenic spots for free.
