The Nalati Grassland is one of the four largest alpine valley grasslands in the world. It integrates blue sky and white clouds, glaciers and snow peaks, forests, grasslands, canyons and rivers. It is the grassland with the most concentrated Kazakh population in the world. It has been rated as “the grassland with the most Kazakh population” and “the most Kazakh yurts” by the Guinness Headquarters in Shanghai. “Grassland” is an “open-air museum” that reflects and displays the traditional living habits of the Kazakh people.
April to June is the best flower viewing season in the Nalati grassland. From the wild lilies blooming on the top of the ice in early April to the Ashan nasturtium and sage in late June, all kinds of mountain flowers are in full bloom. During this period, the sky grassland is also popular. It is called a hanging garden; from July to September, the grassland is green and the sheep The swarms move like clouds, and the climate is very pleasant, making it a good place to escape the summer heat. From October to November, the Nalati Grassland and Panlong Valley are colorful and the sky is high and the clouds are clear, which is an excellent period for photography; December to March The Nalati grassland in the moon is covered in silver and the red willows are enchanting, which is very spectacular.
At present, the Nalati Scenic Area has a variety of tourism methods such as photography tours, folk home visits, self-driving tours, parent-child tours, study tours, starry sky camping, hiking adventures, and horseback riding. There are a variety of entertainment projects in the scenic area such as horse riding, rafting, helicopters, fixed-wing, bicycles, folk home visits, equestrian performances, travel photography, etc. The facilities are mature and it is very comfortable to play.

- Yining City-Xinyuan County, there are about 22 trains every day, departing every half hour from 08:30 to 19:00 in the morning, and arriving in Xinyuan County in about 4-5 hours (speed limit)
- Yining-Nalati: There is a shuttle bus to Nalati from Yili Prefecture Passenger Terminal at 10:00, 12:00 and 15:00 every day.
- Flight, Urumqi-Nalati, 1-4 flights a day, arrival in about 50 minutes.
- When visiting Nalati Grassland, most people start from Urumqi by chartering a bus. The shortest conventional route is about seven days. Visiting Sailimu Lake, Kalajun Grassland, Zhaosu Grassland, Tekes, Bayinbuluke Grassland and other scenic spots in the Ili Valley together is also the most classic way to visit Ili. The price of renting a small car in Urumqi during the peak season is about 500 yuan per car per day.
