–The monument of “Tianxia Xiongguan” is located to the west of Jiayuguan Gate Tower. The monument faces south and faces north. The monument is 3 meters high and 85 centimeters wide. The four characters “Tianxia Xiongguan” are each 59 cm high and 45 cm wide.
–In the 14th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1809), Li Tingchen, the commander-in-chief of Suzhou, inspected the defense of Jiayuguan Pass. Seeing the majesty of the pass, he wrote the four words “Xiongguan in the world”. Later, it was engraved into a monument and erected in the east pass of Jiayuguan Pass. One mile left, and then moved to Kansai 165.7 meters.
