Milarepa Pagoda is located in the north of Hehe City, the capital of Gannan Prefecture. It is a representative building of the White Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It has a magnificent appearance and strong colors. Its interior is magnificent and full of murals. There is a prayer wheel outside the pavilion. There are two Milarepa Pagodas in the entire Tibetan area, and the one we cooperate with is one of them. Milarepa is the most legendary master in the history of Tibetan Buddhism and one of the founders of the Kagyu Sect (Bai Sect).
You need to take off your shoes when entering the Buddhist Pavilion, and walk in a right-hand direction inside the temple hall. There are 9 floors in the Buddhist Pavilion. Each floor is a separate Buddhist hall. Each floor represents a different sect and enshrines a different main deity. You need to take off your shoes when entering the Buddhist pavilion. You can buy disposable slippers to put on. You need to go around the temple clockwise and follow the corridor stairs to the roof. In addition, the murals here are also worth seeing. They are large in scale and have superb painting techniques. They are integrated with the paintings, thangkas and statues. They reflect the content of Tibetan Buddhism and have high artistic value.
