·The main gate of the Forbidden City, the largest of the four gates, has a history of nearly 600 years and is now an important exhibition hall of the Palace Museum.
·There are three gates in the middle of the tower, and a gate on each side. The door in the middle can only be used once when the emperor and the queen enter the palace in a wedding sedan on their wedding day, and when the number one winner, second place winner, and third overall winner in the final imperial examination leave the palace.
·This is also the place where the emperor held important ceremonies. When there was a large-scale triumphal ceremony for prisoners, the emperor would climb to the morning gate tower to accept worship.
