·Lianhua Peak is the highest peak in Huangshan Scenic Area. The first of the 36 peaks, with an altitude of 1864.8 meters, it is located between Yupinglou and Aoyu Peak on the hiking trail. Lotus Peak is steep, towering and majestic. Because the main peak is abrupt and surrounded by small peaks, it looks like a new lotus blooming for the first time, looking up to the sky and blooming in full bloom, so it is named “Lotus Peak”.
·The scenery along the way to the peak is amazing. There are inscriptions on the cliffs such as “What a wonderful creation”, “Unworldly”, “Well-deserved reputation”, “Wonderful view of the sky and the sea” on the walls of the peak. There is a lotus cave and lotus source under the peak. Wu Huan of the Ming Dynasty once wrote a poem praising: “A kind of green lotus spits crimson clouds, and it stands gracefully and flawlessly. Looking at the floating clouds in the sky from a distance, there are ten feet of flowers on the top of the peak.”
