It is located on the top of Zhushan Mountain in Jingdezhen (above the old site of Zhushan Mountain). It was called Juzhu Pavilion in the Tang Dynasty, Zhongli Pavilion in the Song Dynasty, Chaotian Pavilion and Huancui Pavilion in the Ming Dynasty, and was renamed Wenchang Pavilion in the Qing Dynasty. After reconstruction in the early 20th century, it was called “Longzhu Pavilion”. After the Longzhu Pavilion was rebuilt in 1987, it was a palace building imitating the Ming Dynasty with double eaves, with a total of 6 floors, a height of 34.5 meters, and a construction area of 1,650 square meters. There are countless precious cultural relics buried underground around it. Longzhu Pavilion has been a representative building of the Imperial Ware Factory and Royal Kiln Factory since the Ming Dynasty. It is the site of the official kilns of the Ming and Qing Dynasties and has now become the city emblem of Jingdezhen.
In addition, the pavilion contains a large number of official porcelain treasures and official kiln historical materials. Currently, the pavilion displays thousands of blue and white underglaze red vases, a giant dragon vat from the Ming orthodox official kiln, and Ming Dynasty official kiln ceramic treasures unearthed from Zhushan.
