Wangkou Village was called Yongchuan in ancient times. It was named because it is located at the confluence of two rivers and has clear water in front of the village. It is an ancient village in Huizhou where people mainly with the surname Yu live. Wangkou Administrative Village has jurisdiction over 13 natural villages, 24 villager groups, more than 960 households, and a population of more than 3,400 people. It has an area of 3,702 acres of cultivated land and 2,588 acres of paddy fields. It mainly produces tea, rice, timber, etc.
