Leigang Villa in Hongcun, Yixian County is located in Leigang Mountain, the highest point of Hongcun. Hongcun was founded in 1131. Wang Wen, an immigrant from the Northern Central Plains and General Longxiang in the late Han Dynasty, and his descendant Wang Yanji were hit by a fire. Their families came up the river from Qishu Village in Yi County and built 13 houses in Leigang Mountain. This is a house, known as the “Thirteenth Floor”. This is the beginning of Hongcun. Over the past 800 years, the thirteenth floor has collapsed due to fires, floods, wars and man-made vandalism, and only one building remains. In 2000, Wang Jingde and Wu Atao invested money to restore the building and named it “Leigang Villa Thirteenth Floor”…
The air here is fresh, the environment is quiet and elegant, and the scenery is pleasant. Surrounded by green bamboos, there are dozens of thousand-year-old hazelnut trees in the north, green bamboo forests in the east, and a bird’s eye view of Hongcun in the south. It is a good place for vacation and recuperation.
