Lanzhou City Xiaoxihu Park is located 40 kilometers along the Yellow River style line in Lanzhou City. The park was originally a garden of Prince Su of the Ming Dynasty, named “West Garden”. After several wars, in 1880, Governor Yang Changjun was transferred from Zhejiang to Gansu and rebuilt again. In order to not forget the hometown, it was renamed “Little West Lake”. It is known as one of the eight ancient scenic spots in Lanzhou, also known as “Lotus Pond Night Moon”.
The park we see now was established in 1980, officially constructed in 1984, and opened on October 1, 1987. The park currently has nine groups of scenic spots, 12 groups of recreational facilities, and two groups of fountain landscapes. It also governs a 4.8-kilometer-long 5,000-square-meter green belt on South Binhe Middle Road of the Yellow River style line.
