Jiang Guangnai’s former residence, also known as Liyin Garden, is named after the extensive planting of lychees. It was first built by the grandfather of the famous anti-Japanese general Jiang Guangnai. Later, Jiang Guangnai built a Western-style villa style building in the ancestral garden, named “Hongli Mountain House”. The exhibition content in the former residence currently focuses on Jiang Guangnai’s life and deeds, including photos, letters and autographed messages of General Jiang Guangnai on the anti-Japanese front and with his friends and family after the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Looking at Jiang Guangnai’s life, I feel that Liyuan’s style and unique style are worth savoring.
