The Hundred-Step Ladder is located on the cliff at the northwest foot of Lotus Peak. It is a steep and steep orange path with more than 100 steps carved into the stone wall. Viewed from the Aoyu Cave on the opposite side, the staircase leading down to the abyss looks like a long ladder leaning against the cliff. It is often shrouded in clouds and mist and is very dangerous. This is the famous “Hundred-step Ladder”. At the exit of the Hundred-Step Ladder, not far from the “Lotus Stem”, there are two huge stones, one shaped like a turtle and the other shaped like a snake, and the two stones are parallel. The turtle and snake stones are just at the entrance of the ladder, like guards, so it is called “turtle and snake guarding the ladder”.
