Huangling Scenic Area is located in the Shier Mountains about 7 kilometers southeast of Jiangwan Town, Wuyuan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province. It covers an area of ​​about 5 square kilometers. It is about 39 kilometers away from Wuyuan County and about 9 kilometers away from the Jiangwan Expressway exit.
Huangling Village was built in the middle of the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 500 years. Huangling terraced fields are covered with verdant green, and the villages gather Qi Chaoyun, so they are called “Tiyun people’s homes”. Huangling is a typical mountain village. The houses are arranged in a fan-shaped ladder shape around the water mouth. The scenic area is composed of tourist areas such as aerial sightseeing on the cableway, ancient village visits, terraced fields and flowers, and rural customs and folk customs.
On May 15, 2014, Huangling Scenic Area was rated as a national AAAA tourist attraction. The main attractions include Huangling Shaiqiu Village, Terraced Flower Sea, Flower Town, Huaxi Water Street, Leixin Bridge, Sky Street, Ice and Snow Museum, Starry Sky Art Museum, etc.
In March, 100,000 acres of terraced fields are in full bloom. The bright yellow rapeseed flowers complement the distant mountains, near the water, pink walls, and black tiles, forming a picture of harmony between man and nature. The village houses in the valley have white walls and black tiles in front and behind. Set against each other with the rapeseed flowers, it seems like a beautiful ancient village that came out of a painting.
