·Hengshan Mountain is the northern mountain among the “Five Mountains” and is also a Taoist holy land. According to legend, Zhang Guolao, one of the Eight Immortals, attained Taoism through cultivation in Hengshan Mountain.
·The scenic spots include Tianfengling, Cuiping Peak, Qianfo Ridge, etc. Cuiping Peak and Tianfengling are currently developed. Generally speaking, “visiting Hengshan” refers to Tianfengling Scenic Area.
·There are 103 steep steps in front of the gate of Hengzong Hall. The steps are tilted forward at 30 to 40 degrees. You need to use both hands and feet to climb up.
·There are many wall carvings in Huixian Mansion, among which “Grand View of Heaven and Earth” and “Wall Standing Ten Thousand Ren” are the most eye-catching. It is also the tallest building in Hengshan Mountain, and is surrounded by landscapes such as Yuhuang Pavilion, Imperial Stele Pavilion, Qinqi Platform, and Tongyuan Valley.
·Peach blossoms are in full bloom on Hengshan Mountain in spring, and the flowering period lasts for more than 20 days. It is the best time to visit Hengshan Mountain.
