Gongtang Pagoda is located in the southwest corner of Labrang Monastery. It is famous for the statue of Infinite Light Buddha brought from Nepal. Climbing the tower overlooks the entire Labrang Temple. It is a favorite place for many photographers and is also one of the most popular places in Labrang Temple. After coming out of the Gongtang Pagoda and walking across the wooden bridge over the Daxia River, you will find the Buddha-showing platform on the hillside. You can also see the panoramic view of Labrang Temple, which is slightly farther away than inside the pagoda.
