There are more than a dozen large-scale salt sculptures such as “Genius of the Generation - Genghis Khan”, “Salt Years Surplus”, “Salt Worker Style”, etc., which are magnificent and have strong visual impact. These salt sculptures show their vicissitudes of life in the desolation. These salt sculptures use a total of 7,104 tons of salt, setting a world record for the largest outdoor salt sculpture art group in the world by the World Records Association. Among them, “Genghis Khan” is 50 meters long, 30 meters wide and 8 meters high, and consumes 4,800 tons of salt. Salt carving is a sculpture art after sand carving, ice carving and clay carving. The technology is basically similar to that of sand carving, using techniques such as piling, digging, carving and digging. The only difference is that sand carving uses sand and water, while salt carving uses salt and brine. Its charm lies in the artistic wonders displayed through innovative and unique artistic techniques using pure natural raw salt and brine as raw materials. The Salt Lake is probably the first of its kind in China to create large-scale salt sculptures outdoors, achieving the perfect combination of salt and sculpture art and setting a world record for the largest outdoor salt sculpture art group in the world.
