“Four Seasons Zhouzhuang” is China’s first real-life water town performance that presents the original ecological culture of Jiangnan. The performance unfolds in the classic environment of “small bridges, flowing water, and people’s homes”, using unique water town expression techniques to reproduce the cultural characteristics and charming charm of Zhouzhuang, China’s first water town.
The three chapters of the performance - “The Charm of Zhouzhuang” represented by fishermen’s songs, fishermen, fishermen’s lanterns and fishermen’s works; “Rain Alley” in spring, “Picking Lotus Roots” in summer, “Harvest” in autumn, and “New Year’s Eve” in winter “Four Seasons Zhouzhuang” screened; “Folk Custom Zhouzhuang” showing the God of Wealth, harvesting wealth, grandma tea, and water town wedding displays.
