·The Eight Treasures Ruyi Pagoda, located in the square in front of the temple, is the most unique symbol of Kumbum Monastery.
·The eight pagodas were built according to the records of Buddha Sakyamuni in the Buddhist scriptures to commemorate the eight major achievements of Buddha in his life. From east to west are the Lotus Pagoda, Bodhi Pagoda, Four Truths Pagoda, Divine Transformation Pagoda, Descending Mortal Pagoda, Xi Zheng Pagoda, Zun Sheng Pagoda and Nirvana Pagoda.
·The height of the tower is 6.4 meters, and the circumference of the base of the tower is 9.4 meters. Their shapes are similar. The tower body is plastered with white ash, the base is made of blue bricks, and the waist is decorated with scriptures. There is also a Buddhist niche on the south side of each tower body with Sanskrit texts hidden inside.

It leaves every 5-10 minutes and costs 5.5 yuan/person. The journey takes about 1 hour. 3. Xining City Management Station Bus Station - Kumbum Temple Bus Line: Bus: Take bus No. 3, 4, 16 and other buses in the city and get off at the “Management Station”, transfer to Kumbum Temple (Huang Long-distance buses from Zhong County (Zhong County) cost 5 yuan/person and the journey takes about 40 minutes.
