·The ancient city of Dunhuang film and television was modeled after the ancient city of Shazhou in the Song Dynasty when the 1987 Sino-Japanese historical feature film “Dunhuang” was co-produced. It later became the site of many film and television dramas and variety shows such as “The Romance of the Gods”, “New Dragon Inn”, “Running Brothers” and so on. ·At present, there are mainly five streets: Dunhuang Street, Gaochang Street, Ganzhou Street, Xingqing Street, and Bianliang Street. The architectural style of each street represents a region. Walking among them, you can find the magical feeling of traveling between regions.

transportation
There is no public transportation in the ancient city. Most tourists pass by by chartered car when visiting Dunhuang West Line. It is very convenient to charter a car in Dunhuang city and take the Dunhuang West Line.

Ordinary ticket: 35 RMB for adults/20 RMB for children/seniors/students (January 1st - December 31st, Monday - Sunday)
Free tickets: children under 1.2 meters and seniors over 70 years old must purchase tickets with valid ID
