·Doupotang Scenic Area is located about 1 km upstream of Huangguoshu Waterfall. It is the waterfall with the widest top among the Huangguoshu Waterfalls.
·The cave on the left side of the waterfall will produce a strange resonance and a low roar when a huge amount of flood passes by, so Doupotang Waterfall is also called Roar Waterfall.
·This is also the location where the ending theme of the 1986 TV series “Journey to the West” was filmed. The scenery is spectacular, and if you are lucky, you can even see a rainbow.
There are also fish and shrimps hidden in Bitan, so the local Buyi people often hold nets to catch small fish and shrimps in the pool.

[Passenger bus outside the scenic area]
- You can take the one-day tour bus at Guiyang Tourism Passenger Transport Center Station.
- You can also take the bus to Anshun at the long-distance station of the stadium. After arriving in Anshun, take the minibus to Huangguoshu where you get off.
[Sightseeing car in the scenic area]
The driving route of the scenic sightseeing car is a round trip between the “Xincheng Ticket Hall, Doupotang Scenic Area, Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area, and Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area”. The whole journey is about 27 kilometers, and you only need to buy a ticket once.
