·The Dongshan Grottoes are located on the east bank of the Yi River. There was once a saying that “one mountain in the West is not as good as one bay in the East”, but now it is difficult to achieve its grandeur.
·The grottoes on the cliffs of Dongshan Mountain are all cave niches from the Tang Dynasty. Among them, there are 20 large and medium-sized caves. Although they are not as numerous as the Xishan Grottoes, they are still excellent.
·Kanjing Temple is the largest cave in Dongshan, Longmen, with 29 well-preserved Arhats who preach the Dharma.
·Siyan Cave Siyan Cave is a medium-sized cave from the prosperous Tang Dynasty. The wild goose is used as a metaphor for Arhat. This is the only one in the Longmen Grottoes.
