Ciguang Pavilion, known as Fahai Temple in ancient times, was once the head of the Zen forests in Huizhou and Xuanzhou. Monk Jianjiang (Hongren), the founder of Qingxin’an Painting School, and Shi Tao, the master of traditional Chinese painting, both lived here. The current Ciguang Pavilion has been turned into the Huangshan Museum, and the plaque was written by Dong Biwu. Surrounded by peaks, the scenery is elegant. It is now the entrance to the Huangshan Mountains and the entrance to the Yuping Cableway. You can also go down the mountain from here.
