The most meaningful landscape in Linhai Park is the intersection of the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea - Changshanwei. As the name suggests, it is the tail of Changdao and is the intersection of the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea.
You can see that a jade-colored stone beach on the coast crosses the Dengzhou Strait, and a stream of snow waves in the sea goes straight to the direction of Penglai Pavilion. The shore is composed of Zhuji pebbles, with shapes ranging from wide to pointed, curved and elegant, and completely natural; in the sea Then the snow waves splashed in all directions, dividing the blue water of the sea into two worlds, clearly distinguishable from each other. The most surprising thing is that the waves here are surging all year round. The waves elsewhere are as flat as a mirror, but here the currents are like swords. From a distance, they look like a dragon’s tail splashing in the water, or like sand gulls dancing gracefully. Some people say that this is Huang Bohai fighting, others say that this is Huang Bohai’s “intimate contact”.
In 1999, Zhang Siqing, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, came to Linhai. When he saw this strange landscape, he happily wrote the words “Flying Snow on Jade Beach”. Stepping into the end of Changshan Mountain, we are “one foot on two seas, two ears listening to two waves”. It really feels like we are indomitable and solemn.
