Burning Hong Kong is named after the river, and the streets on the north and south banks of Hong Kong are called Burning Hong Kong South Street and Burning Hong Kong North Street.
The residential buildings in Hong Kong basically retain the style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The river is long and the stone revetments are inlaid with stone river ports. Among the continuous houses, ancient alleys lead to the river in front and to the fields in the middle, with winding paths in between. There are high streets in the north of Hong Kong along the Li surnamed Lane, Xiao Lane and Nijia Lane. There is Fengbang Lane in the south of Hong Kong.
The word “Hong Kong” in Burning Hong Kong means two ports: one is a street, and the other is a river port. It was a place where rich people lived a long time ago. Therefore, the buildings in Hong Kong have a distinctive feature: the threshold here is extremely high, more than one foot, and is made of a whole strip of stone.
