Baolun Pavilion is located in Chengkan Village, Huizhou District, 26 kilometers away from Tunxi. It is the most complete group of family temple buildings that retain Ming Dynasty colored paintings and ancestral halls in Anhui Province. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1573–1620), Luo Yinghe, a native of Chengkan, served as the censor, the prime minister of Dali Temple, and the governor of Baoding. Due to his outstanding political achievements, he often received imperial gifts from the emperor. To honor the imperial edict and collect imperial treasures, this pavilion was specially built and named Baolun.
