, because you don’t need to buy a ticket to enter the ancient city, and there are more tourist spots (it is a county town after all), such as Qinglong Cave (50 yuan) and Shiping Mountain (30 yuan). You can see the ancient city from different heights and angles. There is also a Wuyang River flowing through the ancient city. You can play all day long.




Relatively speaking, Xijiang Miao Village is only the size of a town, with few tourist spots. You need to buy a 100 yuan ticket to enter the ancient town, and generally you can’t save a 20 yuan sightseeing ticket. But it is characterized by rich ethnic scenery. If you are traveling with girls, it is good to rent Miao clothes to take photos. You can also watch a free song and dance show (I heard the time is short now).



The night views of both are good, and it is highly recommended to stay overnight.
If you go back to Guiyang,
Zhenyuan
There are green trains, which run four or five times a day, usually about 4 hours, and the fare is 41 yuan. You need to go to Sansui Station to take the high-speed rail, which is quite a hassle.
In addition to the direct train from Xijiang back to Guiyang (the journey takes about 3 hours, 90 yuan), you can also take the direct train to Kaili South Station (18 yuan), and then transfer to the high-speed rail to Guiyang East (53 yuan) or Guiyang North (58 yuan).
