There are two types of accommodation:

  1. Activities mainly within the Buddhist academy
  2. The Buddhist academy is only a short stay
If it is the first situation, it is recommended to stay directly at the Larung Hotel or the Larung Hotel below (The Larung Hotel was newly built in 2016 and the newly renovated environment is OK, but the price is higher than the Larung Hotel. You can book a room in advance, but it is easy in winter. water outage)
  3. House prices are determined internally by the Buddhist College and will not increase by more than 20 yuan.
  4. Convenient access to the Buddhist Academy
  5. There is also hot water and electric blankets in winter
  6. The accommodation environment is relatively clean for a Buddhist college.
  7. It is convenient to see the scenery at night. When you walk out of the hotel door, you can see the brightly lit monk’s house opposite. When you turn around, you can see the shimmering mandala.
Larung Hotel: Rooms cannot be reserved. You can only book a room there. If you book a room from 2pm during the peak season, there is no charge for parking at the door. Each room has independent WiFi without lag. A hair dryer, towels and hot water bottle are provided. You can bring the rest by yourself.
Charges: Single room 180 with private bathroom. Standard room with private bathroom 200. Both 40 and 50 beds have shared bathrooms but the beds are quite big. The room deposit is 200. The bed seems to be cheaper. I have never stayed here and I don’t know the specific bed deposit.
The second situation is a short stay at the Buddhist Academy, a one-day trip.
It is recommended to live directly in the county seat
  8. There are three or four pretty good hotels on the roadside of Xingfu Avenue near Jinma Square in the county seat. Of course, they cannot be compared with those in the city.
  9. The price of accommodation in the county is relatively high.
  10. The youth hostel recommends staying in a hotel called Xidu and Lamu Xiaozhai. The other ones are really not good. One is unclean and the other is super inconvenient (except for these two, I have stayed in seven or eight other hotels that are not good. The most unforgettable one is 16 years. The door of the house I stayed at in November was broken, the standard room had no bathroom and the charge was 180. The electric blanket was still on fire. It was over 20 degrees below zero and it was so cold that I had to sit all night with my friends and wait for dawn)
    Two more words:
  11. All accommodation in the Buddhist College does not have TVs.
  12. Smoking, drinking, and playing cards are prohibited in the entire Buddhist academy. I have seen too many tourists smoking in the mandala. Tibetans cannot understand what they say to tourists because of the language barrier. I hope everyone can respect the regulations in the Buddhist academy.
  13. Seda
The accommodation conditions cannot be compared with those in other Tibetan areas such as Lhasa, Nyingchi and Kangding, and the price is also on the high side, but the food is very cheap, so it is better to make reasonable arrangements according to your funds.
    Hahaha
    I’m sending the last one
