Shanghai Disney
On the first weekend of the park’s opening, I excitedly bought a ticket to play. On this year’s third anniversary, I made an appointment with my friends to go together.
twice
Shanghai Disney
This trip is not a very comprehensive understanding of Disney, but I also saw a lot of things. These situations may not be called “unpleasant”~
Displeasure No. 1️⃣——Queue
I believe that since the opening of Disneyland, the thing that everyone has complained about the most is the queue.
As the only Disneyland in mainland China, travel costs are much lower than going overseas (the United States, Japan, France). After all, traveling from all over the country to
Shanghai
, whether it is a high-speed rail or an airplane, it is very convenient; compared to going to Hong Kong, the travel procedures are much simpler (you need to apply for a Hong Kong and Macau pass to go to Hong Kong).
therefore,
Shanghai Disney
The opening of the park is bound to lead to a situation of oversupply. Therefore, you can often hear queues lasting for 4-5 hours (I have never encountered this myself), which is comparable to the queues at popular venues at the World Expo.
The long queue time means that the activities that can be played throughout the day will be disrupted and reduced. Compared with the ticket cost of 300+ to 500+, naturally everyone feels that the price/performance ratio is very low, and the complaints are getting louder and louder.
💡Suggestions for traveling during off-peak hours
In fact, during my two Disney trips (both on Saturdays), the longest queue was only 20 to 30 minutes. I would like to suggest that you visit at different times.
On the first weekend of the park’s opening, everyone thought there would be more people on weekends, but they didn’t expect that most players would just wait and watch (given that the queuing time during the trial operation was scary). As a result, it was really not that crowded when I went to play, and I made reasonable use of the app. Queue time reminder, and you can also play most of the rides.
On the weekend after the third anniversary, I chose the Saturday that conflicted with the film festival. Due to the diversion effect of the film festival, and although the college entrance examination was over, the final exams for many primary and secondary school students had not yet started, and there were not many student friends. Come to play, but there were not many people that weekend. In addition, among the new annual passes launched by Disney, the most cost-effective annual pass does not include Saturdays, so it also diverts some annual pass users.
Displeasure 2️⃣——Jumping in line
If there is a queue, there will be queue cutting, no matter it is
Shanghai Disney
, Hong Kong Disneyland, and even the California Disneyland I went to, there are queue-jumping phenomena (yes, foreigners can also jump in the queue). I really hate it every time I encounter queue jumping~ After all, everyone knows the waiting time for Disney projects. I finally got halfway through the queue, and a few people cut in halfway, which naturally made me feel extremely unhappy.
There seem to be two forms of queue jumping:
(1) Let the children move forward (taking advantage of their height), and then the adults use the excuse of looking for the children to move forward
(2) In a team that is not a one-person team, use turns and other places to move forward
In fact, I want to say that the Disney queue is always moving, not stagnant. There is really no need to do such uncivilized things just to speed up a few minutes, especially to teach bad children. .
Displeasure 3️⃣——Other uncivilized phenomena
In fact, in news reports, we often see various uncivilized phenomena, such as slapping cartoon actors on the head, stealing balloons from strollers, and defecating everywhere.
What I encountered myself was that when watching the float parade, everyone was standing, squatting or sitting on the roadside in accordance with the security requirements. At first, they were very orderly and would not cross the line, but when When the float passed by, the spectators in the back row would keep pushing forward in order to take photos or videos. Once, they even pushed me onto the road and pushed me out directly (I was also shocked).
I can understand that everyone comes here once in a while and always wants to play more projects and take more photos, but if there are no rules, if everyone does not follow the rules, then this park will be in chaos. Disney is a place that brings joy to everyone. I hope these uncivilized phenomena will become less and less common and it will truly become a fairy tale world that brings happiness to everyone.
