Hello friend,
Zhangjiajie
It is suitable for independent travel. Generally speaking, four days and three nights are enough, but it is not a bad thing if you have enough time. According to my own travel itinerary, it was three days and three nights, and I only went

I spent three days and three nights in the Forest Park and Tianmen Mountain, and on the last night I went to Fenghuang Ancient City. If it’s a hotel, stay for one day

Near the ticket station, I will stay in the city for two days. There are many choices of hotels in both places. You can go to Somecheng to read the reviews. I’ll just briefly talk about it for your reference. If you are traveling independently without luggage and are considering staying in a hotel or a B&B, it is recommended to stay in the city. Find an express hotel with very convenient transportation and leave your luggage in the hotel.
On the first day, you arrive at the hotel, taste the local food, and be careful not to strike up conversations with locals. There are people pretending to be police officers to provide you with travel assistance. Do you think there is anything else that you don’t need to be cautious about? From the central bus station, it takes 5 minutes to walk to the Tianmen Mountain Cableway. The nearby famous Fuzhengyi Sanxiaguo and Bobo Cuisine in the Village are also 5 minutes to walk.
Let’s get up and talk about it

As for the scenic spots and routes to the Tianmen Mountain Scenic Spot, we still use sections to divide the scenic spots, which is intuitive and saves time and effort. (Borrowing Xiaohao’s picture from Bee Friends, this can be more direct)
On the red route on the first day, look at the red arrow for the walking direction;
For the green route on the second day, look at the blue arrow for the walking direction.
The route is approximately:
Day one:
Wulingyuan
Entrance to the sign gate—on the Bailong Ladder—Yuanjiajie—Tianzi Mountain—down the Tianzi Mountain Cableway—Shili Gallery
The next day: Entrance from the south gate - Big Oxygen Bar Square - Huangshi Village (up and down the ropeway) - Hiking on Jinbian Stream (about 3 hours) - Water around the four gates (take a sightseeing bus) -

sign door out
Day 3: On the Tianmen Mountain Cableway, take the west route
About tickets
Zhangjiajie
The ticket is valid for 4 days (including the sightseeing bus - the sightseeing bus is a transportation bus between various attractions, such as from Yuanjiajie to Tianzi Mountain, Tianzi Mountain to Shili Gallery, etc., which is very convenient). You must buy a three-rope and one-elevator combo ticket. The cableways are: up or down the Tianzishan cableway (one-way), up and down the Huangshizhai cableway (two-way), and up the Bailong Ladder. The full price is 465/person. You can buy it from local travel agencies for 30-60 yuan cheaper; whether it is Forest Park or Tianmen Mountain, especially Tianmen Mountain, you must make a reservation in advance, otherwise you will not be able to enter.
The next day, I had breakfast downstairs in the morning and walked 5 minutes to

At the central bus station, you can buy tickets at the self-service machine, the fare is 13. Buy a ticket and get on the bus, it runs every 10 minutes, so be sure to go early.
The drive took about more than an hour, and the car stopped

At the intersection leading to the sign gate, get off the bus and walk straight for 15 minutes to get to the sign gate. Swipe your ID card to enter the scenic spot. Start the first day’s itinerary from below.

Exit the scenic area through the sign gate and take a bus back to the city for accommodation.
On the third day, the morning process was the same as yesterday. I had breakfast and went straight to

Take a bus from the Central Bus Station to the Forest Park Ticket Station. Remember to enter from whichever ticket station you bought on the first day. From the second day on, you can directly swipe your ID card and enter from whichever ticket station you bought.
After the water circuit around the four gates, we will return to the city along the same route as yesterday. End of Tianmen Mountain trip.
On the fourth day, I will visit Tianmen Mountain today. Let me first introduce the route. Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area has three tourist routes A/B/C. The prices of the three routes are the same. Whichever route you choose to buy a ticket, you can only follow this route back. . Route A is highly recommended on the Internet, that is, on the Tianmen Mountain Cableway in the city, walk the Guigu Plank Road, then go down the escalator to Tianmen Cave (this escalator is free), then climb down the 999 steps of Tianmen Mountain, then take the Tianmen Cave Express Cableway, and finally take the The scenic bus returns to the city. Then Line B is just the opposite. First, take the bus from the urban scenic spot to the Tianmen Cave Express Ropeway, then in the opposite direction, and finally return to the city via the Tianmen Mountain Cableway. Line C is too unsmooth, so I won’t describe it here. The biggest difference between A and B is that one is the 999 steps of Tianmen Cave, one is up and the other is down. There is no platform to rest in the middle of the steps. It is continuous and the width of the steps is not very large. Ordinary people will feel a little panicked when they go down such high steps. If you are afraid of heights, the downward route is not recommended (of course you can choose to take the elevator and buy a separate ticket, but the taste will be worse), and the downward route is probably right. More wear and tear on the knee joint. I strongly recommend going up this step. There is also the Tianmen Mountain Cableway, which goes directly from the scenic spot to the city. This is more interesting. It looks a little more special going all the way from the mountain to the city center. So considering these two points, I think it is more reasonable and better to choose line B than line A, and it is easier to buy tickets for line B than line A, because everyone buys tickets for line A, so it is estimated that you have to buy tickets for line A at least three days in advance. Anyway, I can’t buy tickets a day in advance.
After the fourth day, you can choose to go
