The scenic spots in the urban area are relatively concentrated, including the Big Buddha Temple, Shanxi Guild Hall, Muta Temple, Wetland Park,

For sightseeing spots such as the Municipal Museum, it is recommended to go to Ganzhou Market for meals.
(1) Big Buddha Temple Shanxi Guild Hall
The two attractions, the Dafo Temple and the Shanxi Guild Hall, are currently together. The entrances are from the main entrance of the Dafo Temple.
The most famous building of the Great Buddha Temple is the Reclining Buddha, which is the largest existing indoor reclining Buddha in China, and hence the name of the Great Buddha Temple. There are two couplets on the door. One with a yellow background tells the Zen meaning of the Reclining Buddha, and the other with a blue background tells the history of the Reclining Buddha. You should study it carefully when you arrive.
After entering, you saw the Reclining Buddha. To view the Reclining Buddha, you have to start from the beginning. It depicts the scene of Buddha’s nirvana with his hands on his arms. What follows is the reaction of the Buddha’s disciples. There are two big hair protectors on the left and right. The Buddha appears to be very peaceful. Walk around the Buddha clockwise, and when you reach the Buddha’s feet, slowly walk forward to the Buddha. You can feel the Buddha slowly opening his eyes. It is a very magical sight.
Further back is the Baita Temple, which used to be a library and is now a museum.
After shopping, in the far left corner of the scenic spot is the Shanxi Guild Hall. There is a small door to enter.

The best preserved Qing Dynasty architectural complex. When you enter the Shanxi Guild Hall, the first thing you see is the Guandi Temple. There is a couplet that reads, “The loyal and righteous man of the Han Dynasty is unparalleled, the first hero since ancient times.”
Walking inside is a stage, and there will be stage performances on specific festivals.
I need to add that at the main entrance of the Shanxi Guild Hall, which is behind the Big Buddha Temple, it is currently not open. There is a delicacy called “Beef Rice”.

Local specialties.
It seems to be 8 yuan a bowl, which is not very expensive anyway. One bowl can fill you up. It is really good value for money and highly recommended.
(2)Muta Temple

It is the city’s main public activity place, especially lively at night. Although the entrance fee to Muta Temple is not expensive, only 5 yuan, it is not recommended to climb up. There are relatively steep iron stairs inside, and the viewing windows above are surrounded by iron fences, so you cannot enjoy the beautiful scenery. There are many pigeons nearby. You can bring some corn and feed the pigeons here.

It is quite unique in Buddhism.
Of course, the most distinctive feature of the museum is the story about the development history of the Yugu people, which allows you to have a deeper understanding of the Yugu, Uighur and Uyghur ethnic groups.

Municipal Wetland Park
Zhangye
The city has a reputation as “if you don’t look at the snow on the top of the Qilian Mountains, it’s a mistake.”

Known as “Jiangnan”, it is the place with the most luxuriant water and grass in the Hexi Corridor. The Wetland Park is also known as the “Lungs of the Earth” and has a relatively beautiful natural landscape.
