I visited the Brahmaputra Grand Canyon five years ago. The situation there may have changed now. My answer is for reference only.
- You can’t see peach blossoms in Suosong Village now, and the scenery is relatively monotonous. It’s better to go there in early April, when the peach blossoms are in full bloom. However, the peach blossoms in Tibet are not bright enough and are white in color. Unlike the pink peach blossoms in the mainland, the peach blossoms in Tibet are far less beautiful than the pictures on the website.
- The sunrise on Namcha Barwa Peak cannot be seen. You can only see the “Rizhao Jinshan” of Namcha Barwa Peak in the evening, but this depends on luck. Namcha Barwa Peak is shrouded in clouds and fog all year round and it is difficult to show up. Therefore, Namjagbarwa Peak is also called “Shameful Girl Peak”.

There are minibuses in Pai Town of the county, and the end point is the entrance of the Brahmaputra Grand Canyon Scenic Area. The journey takes 3 hours, twice a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Please check online for specific times.
The terminal station is the entrance to the Brahmaputra Grand Canyon Scenic Area, and there is still 8 kilometers of uphill road from Suosong Village. The best way is to ask the hotel owner to pick you up. There are no buses or taxis here.
- Five years ago, the highway in the Brahmaputra Grand Canyon was reconstructed, and the tourist routes in the scenic area changed. Now that the highway has been reconstructed, have the tourist routes changed? Please check online.
- Check 2345 Weather King online:

The weather in the area has been bad recently, with light rain on the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th, and rain or snow on the 11th to 18th. It is recommended to travel with caution. It would be better if you can postpone your arrival here until early April.
I traveled to Tibet in early April 2019. After returning, I wrote the following six travel notes. Please browse.

See the picture below: Taken at Guru Temple, time: 2019-04-11, at 8:32, the full view of Namjagbarwa Peak is revealed (downstream direction of Yajiang River). It is really not easy for God to make it beautiful.
See the picture below: Taken at Gongzundem Farm in Tunbai Village, time: 2019-04-10, 19:42. Most of Namjagbarwa Peak has been exposed, but the clouds and fog blocked the main peak and refused to disperse easily. It has been like this since the afternoon until now. “Shy Girl Peak” is truly worthy of its name. This “shy beautiful girl” has always refused to lift her mysterious veil and show her true face to people. It got dark after a while, so we arrived in time.
See the picture below: Taken at Gongzundem Farm in Tunbai Village, time: 2019-04-10, 20:03. The crystal white snow-capped mountains quickly changed their appearance. Under the sunlight, they turned orange-red. Although the main peak was not exposed, they still looked beautiful.
