When I climbed Wulaofeng, it felt like it took quite a long time. The main reason was that the slope was very steep. I checked the distance beforehand. In fact, it wasn’t that it was very far. It was just that the steep slope made me tired.
Generally, it starts from Wulaofeng Sightseeing Station and the hike to Wulaofeng is about 3 kilometers.
【Phase 1】
The first is the first peak. It is about 800 meters from the station to the first peak, but the slope is steep, so if you climb directly on foot, it usually takes more than half an hour.
【Second stage】
It’s very easy to get from the first peak to the second peak. It feels like it’s only about 50 meters, and you can definitely climb it in 10 minutes.
【The third stage】
From the second peak to the third peak, it will be another level of difficulty. Because the slope from the third to the fourth peak is similar to the first stage, and may be steeper than the first stage, it is recommended to take a good rest after climbing the second stage before hiking the third stage.
【Stage 4】
The distance from the third peak to the fourth peak is also very close, you can get there in about 10 minutes;
The one with the canteen is the fourth peak, and the isolated hilltop with the fence on the pile of rocks next door is the third peak.
【Stage 5】
Finally, from the fourth peak to the fifth peak, the length is the longest, about 1 kilometer, but the slope is not particularly steep, and it can be completed in about 30 minutes. In the last stage, I think the scenery of the first four peaks is pretty good. In the end, the scenery from the fourth to the fifth peak is a bit monotonous. If you are tired, you don’t need to go to the fifth peak.

For the whole journey, if an adult rests and climbs, 2 hours is 100% enough. If you hurry up, 1 and a half hours will be enough.
